About gay people:

I will now argue that most people who consider themselves gay are not truly gay. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the existence of a "gay gene" is still being questioned and was never confirmed. It is also true that many "ex-gays" are simply hetereosexuals or bisexuals that went through a "gay phase" or curiosity phase. Moreover, most cases of gay relationships are sex-based with no emotional attachments (barring Brokeback Mountain which I've never seen). Bill Maher himself echoed this sentiment when he said "if you take away the anal sex from gay relationships, what else is there?"

This implies that nearly all "gay" people are not "actually gay." While they may be horny enough to have sex with guys, their primary romantic interests lie in women. To be truly gay, you have to be ROMANTICALLY (not sexually) ATTRACTED to someone of the same sex, and be willing to marry that person. I therefore conclude that the majority of the self-proclaimed gay population is in fact just super horny. They're in it for the sex and the thrill of taboo, not for love.

While this is no excuse for a ban on gay marriage, it raises the question: Is "true love" possible between two men or two women? If so, what percentage of "gay" people actually experience it?

Homophobia: NSW refuses to allow Gay Adoption

The New South Wales government has refused to allow same-sex couples to adopt children, despite an upper-house committee recommending gays and lesbians be permitted to adopt.

"Members [of parliament] were unable to reach a consensus, reflecting divisions on this issue in the wider community." Said Community Services Minister Linda Burney

"As a result of these concerns, the government is not satisfied there is broad enough community support to justify new state legislation at this stage."

Burnley is cowering to homophobes: "The committee was given examples of successful parenting and fostering by gay and lesbian couples, and in these case studies, adoption provided permanence, stability and security which are so important for children.

"However, I am also aware that there are very deeply held, divergent views on this issue and that is why a decision on this matter will not be taken at this stage."

Kellie McDonald from the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby has slammed the move as discriminatory: "We believe that, politics aside, if the government's primary concern is the best interests of the child, that they should act swiftly to remove the discrimination in the Adoption Act to ensure all children are protected under the law," she said.

Gay adoption is still legal in Western Australia (see video below), and the ACT. Adoption of a partner's biological child is possible in Victoria, and non-biological parents can place his or her name on their partner's birth certificate (however, gay couples are still unable to adopt other children).

Second class citizens we remain.

US ends ban on HIV+ / AIDS travelers

The United States has finally allowed HIV+ individuals and AIDS victims to enter its borders (legally).

"We're very excited to finally see the end of this discriminatory and harmful policy," said Victoria Neilson, legal director at the advocacy group Immigration Equality.

"Getting rid of the HIV ban has been part of our core mission since we were founded in 1994," she said.

The ban on HIV+ / AIDS victims from entering the United States commenced in 1987.

According to reports, Elton John is helping notorious homophobe kick drugs...and is telling everyone about it.

You may remember Eminem has released many homophobic songs for example from his song Control:

I have little sympathy for a homophobe, and even less for a man stupid enough to take drugs. Life's a bitch.
